Responsibilities and Expectations
The operator will be responsible for providing a good day’s work every day, demonstrating a genuine interest in the proper performance of responsibilities, and adhering to all Company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively to contribute to the success of the Company’s construction projects.
- Maintain Company equipment in well-maintained and good working condition.
- Conduct work productively during all working hours, striving to eliminate errors.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area and contribute to overall site housekeeping.
- Provide good customer service and act as an effective "salesperson" of all Company services.
- Driver’s License: Must present and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the Company’s insurer. Drivers must use seat belts at all times.
- Safety: Prioritize safety, report all unsafe conditions and perceived safety problems promptly to the manager, and conscientiously avoid unnecessary risks. Report any injury within 24 hours.
- Drug-Free Workplace: Adhere strictly to the Drug and Alcohol Policy, prohibiting the possession, sale, or use of illegal drugs or alcohol while at work or engaged in work-related activities .
Requirements
- Introductory Period: All new employment begins with an Introductory Period of ninety (90) days.
- Training: Full-time employees may be required to attend job-related training programs or development seminars at the Company’s expense and on Company time.
- Right to Work: Must complete the United States Citizens and Immigration Services Form I-9 and present documents of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Compensation & Benefits
- Wage Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
- Performance Bonuses: Employees are eligible for quarterly performance reviews and may be eligible for bonuses tied to company performance and individual reviews.
- Health Insurance & 401K: The Company offers a competitive compensation package that includes direct compensation (taxable wage) and indirect compensation (benefits), which may include health plan enrollment. Details on retirement plans, such as a 401K, are available upon request to the Office Manager.
- Paid Vacation: Eligible full-time employees accrue paid vacation from their first day of employment (anniversary date).
- Accrual/Usage Schedule (Per Year):
- Less Than 3 Years: 5 Days (eligible after 90 days)
- Year 3 – Year 5: 10 Days (eligible after Year 2)
- Year 6+: 15 Days (eligible after Year 6)
- Paid Sick Leave: Eligible employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum accrual of 48 hours per calendar year. Employees may begin to use this time after completing 90 days of employment.
- Paid Holidays: Full-time employees are eligible for paid holidays after the 90-day Introductory Period. Recognized paid holidays include New Year’s Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Day after Christmas .
